TCIA
Wright Outdoor Solutions is the first and only TCIA accredited company in the state of Iowa.

The TCIA Accreditation "seal of approval" helps consumers find tree care companies that have been inspected and accredited based on:

   •   Adherence to industry standards for quality and safety
   •   Maintenance of trained, professional staff
   •   Dedication to ethics and quality in business practices

ISA
All Wright Outdoor Solutions tree care team members must become ISA certified. ISA, the International Society of Arboriculture, is a worldwide professional organization dedicated to fostering a greater appreciation for trees and to promoting research, technology, and the professional practice of arboriculture. Through ISA, our team members have received certification as a:


  •   ISA Certified Arborist - 8 on staff
  •   ISA Board-Certified Master Arborist - 2 on staff
  •   ISA Certified Arborist/ Utility Specialist
  •   ISA Certified Arborist/ Municipal Specialist, or
  •   ISA Certified Tree Worker/Climber Specialists

ICNP
The Iowa Nursery & Landscape Association (INLA) created the Iowa Certified Nursery Professional (ICNP) Program to improve the skill and knowledge of green industry employees, to generate

recognition of professionalism in the green industry among the public and to provide a means of self-improvement for members of the green industry in Iowa. This program includes 2 areas of specialization: Garden Center and Landscape.

Garden Center: The Garden Center is the information center on which homeowners have come to rely for dependable horticultural advice. In order to provide sound horticultural advice to customers, the garden center employee must be knowledgeable in a wide variety of subjects, including plant identification, proper plant usage, plant health, soils, landscape design, proper planting, maintenance and more.

Landscape: The public, architects, contractors, and landscape designers have come to rely on landscape contractors and installers for dependable landscape construction techniques and horticultural expertise. In order to provide sound scientific, horticultural advice and proper installation, the landscape installer must be knowledgeable in a wide variety of areas, including plant identification, plant usage, plant health, soils, turfgrass management, use of pesticides, construction techniques, design, sales and more.

ASLA
Founded in 1899, the American Society of Landscape Architects is the national professional association representing landscape architects. ASLA promotes the landscape architecture profession and advances the practice through advocacy, education, communication, and fellowship.

What is Landscape Architecture?
Landscape architecture encompasses the analysis, planning, design, management, and stewardship of the natural and built environments. Types of projects include: residential; parks and recreation; monuments; urban design; streetscapes and public spaces; transportation corridors and facilities; gardens and arboreta; security design; hospitality and resorts; institutional; academic campuses; therapeutic gardens; historic preservation and restoration; reclamation; conservation; corporate and commercial; landscape art and earth sculpture; interior landscapes; and more. Landscape architects have advanced education and professional training and are licensed in 49 states.
